Requests guide: what the forest folk want
Quick answer
Villagers in Foxy's Potion Shop post requests you can see in the corner panel — for example 'Request from JeanJean: Brew 1 Weak healing potion.' Finish the job, hand it over, and they pay you in little paws. A wandering merchant also drops by to trade.

Requests are how Foxy's Potion Shop pays you: a villager posts what they need, you brew it, and a short exchange settles the bill in little paws. Here is the system as shown in official material, the neighbours who appear in it, and what to look for on launch day.
The request panel
The job board is minimal by design — one request at a time, in plain words:
- It names the villager: "Request from JeanJean" reads the header of the French store screenshot.
- It names the job with an exact count: "Brew 1 Weak healing potion", "Brew 3 Weak healing potion", "Brew 1 Fire resistance potion" all appear in official shots.
- A
0 / 1-style counter tracks the run. - Different languages present the same panel — "Infuse 1 Potion de force" is the French rendering of the same format.
Forest folk we have met so far
| Character | Where they appear | What we know |
|---|---|---|
| JeanJean | Request panel header (French store screenshot); also an early page in the collection book | Asked for a strength potion; one of the first named residents |
| Biscuit | Launch trailer | A request for 3 weak healing potions shows while the subtitles greet them — "Oh hello Biscuit!" — so visits and requests go together |
| The itinerant merchant | Launch trailer dialogue | "Hello! I'm an itinerant merchant." — a traveller who trades with you, and the line "I feel better! Here are your little paws! Thank you for everything!" is the plainest confirmation of how payment works |

Little paws: how you get paid
- The currency is counted with a paw-shaped icon in the HUD corner, and the reward dialogue calls it exactly what it looks like: "your little paws".
- Requests are the income shown in official material — brew, deliver, get paid.
- The store page gives the sinks: furniture, objects, souvenirs, and your potion-crafting and magic equipment.

What to verify on day one
- Whether every villager posts requests, or only some of them.
- Whether the merchant buys potions as well as selling things.
- Whether requests can be refused, expire, or stack.
- Prices of furniture versus typical request payments — the first real economy question.
- Whether the collection book fills on meeting people, serving them, or both.
Where to next
- Potions and brewing — the potion types requesters ask for.
- The collection book — where the residents end up.
